Looking for a Registered Nurse Educator position using exceptional skills in educating the current nursing staff and making sure they're unit competencies are up to date, and they are aware of AWHONN changes in the care of mothers and their babies after delivery. Also working as a charge nurse as back up when the floor is busy and we may have sick calls, and working the floor when we are short staffed is a big part of being an educator who earns respect from their peers. Using the skills I have as a skilled RN, being able to execute full patient exams; Ensure charting accuracy through precise documentation; Collaboration; Deliver compassionate care that exceeds hospital requirements; Successfully provide quality care to many patients in Mother/Baby; Successfully provided care to many patients in Postpartum; Provide support to families through education on procedures, regimens prevention and care; Perinatal care. Exceptional interpersonal, and communication skills with the experience required to remain highly focused and self-possessed in fast-paced, high-stress environments. Solid background in training and areas where technical expertise, administration, organization, and motivation are required. Tested experience in a variety of hospital settings with the ability to put patients at ease, and to make them comfortable when they are anxious, and elicit cooperation from people under less-than-ideal circumstances.
