Passionate teacher with 20 years of experience developing and implementing diverse curriculums covering wide range of subjects. I've taught science from 1st to 6th grade every year as a part of my grade level curriculum. I'm highly skilled at motivating students through positive encouragement and reinforcement of concepts via interactive classroom instruction and instructing from a Biblical worldview which is the cornerstone of my instructional practices. I recognize and foster the gifts God has given to each of my students and find it essential to partner and communicate effectively and regularly with parents. I enjoy helping students develop intellectual curiosity and critical thinking skills. My classroom management skills are very strong with an emphasis on student responsibility, resourcefulness, and respect in a Christ-centered environment. I hold a CA Teaching Credential and a TN Professional 6-Year License.
