-Heart condition requiring overnight oxygen mask

Care Provided:

-Daily Personal Care: Assisted with daily body wash, hair washing (1-2 times per week), and

comprehensive skin care.

-Wound Care: Administered wound care as needed, ensuring proper healing and prevention of

infection.

-Pressure Bandages: Applied and maintained pressure bandages on legs every day to

manage swelling and reduce the risk of sores.

-Dressing/Undressing: Assisted with dressing and undressing, tailored to the patient's

mobility and comfort.

-Mobility Assistance: Transferred the patient inside the home using a Hoyer lift. Provided

transportation in a wheelchair-accessible van for appointments and outings.

-Medical Management: Managed patient’s medications, oxygen equipment, and electronic

wheelchair. Administered injections as prescribed.

-Appointments and Transportation: Scheduled and coordinated multiple doctor

appointments. Transported the patient to and from various medical facilities.

-Wardrobe Adjustments: Made clothing adjustments to accommodate physical limitations and

ensure comfort.

-Service Dog Care: Provided care for the patient’s service dog during the first 8 years of

employment.

-Emergency Support: Responded to emergency situations, visiting after regular work hours

and staying overnight when needed.

-Social and Recreational Support: Took the patient out for entertainment, educational activities, and travel to maintain quality of life.
