Summary

With 16 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse, I have worked to improve health and well-being on an individual and community level in a variety of clinical settings. As an RN Case Manager at BSC for the last six years, I have made health care more accessible to individuals across multiple lines of business. I effectively manage a caseload of members with complex medical and behavioral needs, present challenging cases at multidisciplinary rounds. I work across the organization and with multiple vendors to achieve better outcomes and more affordable health care solutions.

I have worked on projects outside of my immediate role including representing my team at Transformational Meetings, High-Cost Claims Meetings, and participated in Salesforce Testing. As an Ambassador for the ERG Elevating Women, I promote its mission and growth not only to my team, but companywide at on-site events.

Providing support, sharing resources, and professional experience with new team members is another way I demonstrate leadership. I have grown an agile mindset through times of uncertainty, including leadership change and the transition to Salesforce. I seek opportunities to learn outside of my department, for example, being mentored by senior leadership in Stakeholder Enterprise Learning and Organizational Development.

I completed my Bachelor of Health Care Administration through BSC’s tuition grant program and am currently working towards my master’s degree. I have excellent communication skills, enjoy new challenges, and am eager to learn and grow within Blue Shield of California.
