• Yolo County Children's Alliance supports families to protect and empower children. They help families, particularly non-English speaking families, access services, learn valuable parenting skills, and find support. This is done through family strengthening programs which focus on the following areas: family support, parent education, and community collaboration and advocacy.
• Provide weekly home visits to all assigned families establishing a trusting relationship with families to enhance family functioning through nurturing relationships.
• Help families identify their family's strengths and develop parenting skills.
• Facilitating visiting sessions with the goal of achieving the family's goal in parenting development.
• Assist families with enrolling and maintaining health care services.
• Educate families on positive parenting relationships and healthy attachment.
• Conduct assessments and use of appropriate curriculum and abide by local and state policies and procedures.
• Inform families of community resources and reducing barriers to access these services.
• Ensure that family's files are maintained and up to date.
• Maintain confidentiality of records as specified in confidentiality agreement.
• Attend weekly individual reflective supervision sessions, team meetings and staff meetings.

• Provide peer counseling, crisis intervention, information and referrals to clients accessing the crisis line.
• Demonstration of active listening skills for sensitive issues that clients are facing when calling in the crisis line.
• Provide advocacy and support to bilingual (Spanish/English) clients as well as monolingual clients who are facing challenging situations regarding domestic violence and sexual assault.
• Maintain a high standard of confidentiality mandated by agency's protocol.
• Planned service activities to promote community interaction.

• Aldea Children's and Family Services of Solano/Napa county improves people's mental health so that they can strengthen their relationships and become engaged in the community. Through critical mental health, treatment, foster care and adoption, and support services. The mission of the organization is to enable children to begin to heal from past trauma, families to build healthy relationships and adults with developmental disabilities to remain independent.
• Provide direct intervention and collateral services to all assigned children and families.
• Coach, educate and provide clinical treatment as needed.
• Serve people with mental health challenges and adults with developmental disabilities who would not otherwise receive critical support needed to thrive.
• Therapeutic Visitation Services (TVS)- family reunification services provided to children who are reported and registered through the Child Welfare System (CWS). Their parents are working towards reunification by obtaining parenting skills and counseling and working towards family visitation.
• Provide parenting support to monolingual Spanish speaking parents on collateral and supportive services.
• Completion of all case-related and agency documentation in a timely and accurate manner. This includes documentation notes by using the BIRP model for Medi-Cal forms/administrative paperwork.
• Participates actively in the Child Family Team meetings (CFT), Treatment Team meetings (TTM) and Individual Education Program (IEP).
• Actively use clinical supervision to develop home intervention skills and strategies.

Family Connections offers advocacy, support and parenting classes with an emphasis on positive parent-child interactions and linkage to community resources.

* Offer outreach services serving Latino families in the Western Slope of El Dorado County in home visitation and parenting skills.

* Provide mental support to Latino clients when they are in crisis.

* Connect families with resources through the county- linking families with the Department of Social Services and accessing community resources with a specific focus on metal health.

* Interpreting for Spanish speaking clients during their prenatal doctor's appointments with the Sweet Success (Gestational Diabetes program).
