Between 2012 and 2019 : volunteering and helping school activities while my kids in Elementary and middle school in Belmont, CA : Completing prep work, preparing and teaching Art in Action for 3rd 4th and 5th Grades; helping achieving higher reading levels with the Read-a-thon event each year, organizing fundraising activities and assisting with talent shows, driving kids to different field trips;
Between 2004 and 2008 my husband was offered a position overseas and, although I tried, I wasn’t able to take my position with me in Tokyo, Japan. Moreover from a financial standpoint, it seemed to make the most sense for me to move with him. After spending time exploring my surroundings, taking lessons to learn japanese and learning ways to communicate, I decided to teach English as a foreign language ; I've learned to adapt to new classroom environments, bridged language and cultural barriers.

Participated in a couple of contracted archaeological projects with the agencies. Excavated archaeological materials and recorded data in the field on gallo-romans sites. Dug up and found potteries, artifacts and other historic items.
