Quality Supports Department

• Employed by a non-profit organization to provide free county-wide professional development services to support Florida School-Readiness and Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) providers.
• Designs and facilitates virtual and in-person trainings for early childhood educators and administrators - adhering to International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) and maintaining ODT certification.
• Provides in-person coaching support for a caseload of sites across Palm Beach County as a certified Practice Based Coaching (PBC) coach. Adult learner participants include early childhood education centers administrators, educators, and staff.
• Conducts informal Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) observations, provides reflective feedback, and reviews formal assessment reports with administration and staff.

Professional Development Department

• Employed by a non-profit organization to provide professional development services for a free state-wide early childhood Quality Improvement Rating System (QIRS) and a part of a collaborative Training Improvement Team.
• Designed and facilitated trainings for early childhood educators and administrators to provide individualized instruction to school specific needs.
• Provided in-person coaching support for a caseload of sites across the state of Arizona. Adult learner participants included early childhood education centers, administrators, educators, and staff.
• Quality Improvement Plans (QIP) were developed and implemented through the support of the coach to improve the quality of the site's services, education, and programs for young children (birth to five) and families.
• Conducted informal Environmental Rating Scale (ERS) and Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) observations, provided reflective feedback, and reviewed formal assessment reports with administration and staff.
• Supported administrators with appropriately spending school improvement funds and purchasing school curricula.

• Developed and delivered engaging lessons for young online learners aged three to eight years.

Early Intervention Department

• Adhered to and implemented federal and state-funded early childhood education programs as the lead educator of the classroom.
• Responsibilities included but were not limited to: Lesson planning, teaching, classroom and behavior management, Creative Curriculum, conferences, home visits, coordinating grade level events/field trips/fundraisers, Teaching Strategies Gold Assessment, Heggerty Assessment, Conscious Discipline, Brigance, Marzano observations, BAS testing, Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS), online distance learning, Canvas, Teams, Zoom, Bloomz, development and facilitation of parent workshops, etc.

• Trained and mentored new teachers on lesson planning, implementing curriculum, child assessment, and classroom management.
• Maintained a leadership role, leading a team of teachers to ensure alignment with curriculum and school standards, and planning grade level functions.
• Managed the facilitation of a kindergarten classroom and curriculum, adhering to state standards and program expectations.
• Responsibilities included but were not limited to: Lesson planning, teaching, classroom and behavior management, Common Core standards, Response to Intervention, BAS testing, iReady, Saxon Math & Phonics, GoMath, Reading Street, IEP individualized instruction, etc.
