Managed patients with oxygen therapy including high frequency oscillatory ventilation (HFOV), high frequency jet ventilation, inhaled nitric oxide (iNO), tracheostomy, endotracheal intubation mechanical ventilation, continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) and nasal cannula.
Administered care of patients requiring extra corporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), induced hypothermia via cooling blanket for hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy (HIE), surgical intervention for patent ductus arteriosus (PDA), gastroschisis/omphalocele, and tracheoesophageal fistula (TEF).
Activities performed include caring for neonates with congenital heart defects, meconium aspiration, extremely low birth weight (ELBW), congenital anomalies, sepsis/pneumonia, feeding intolerances, withdrawal, hypoglycemia, and hyperbilirubinemia.
Managed patients with cardiac monitoring, pulse oximetry, isolettes, medication administration, intravenous infusions/gtts, PICC, arterial, Broviac, and UAC/UVC lines, and nasogastric/orogastric tubes.
