I am a dedicated individual who is committed to providing the best education to future children in the classroom that I will teach. I have over 16 years of customer service experience that I will carry into my classroom relationships with students and their families. I am thoroughly committed to fostering a positive learning environment, prioritizing active student engagement, and promoting critical thinking skills. My teaching style promotes positive communication with my strong background in customer service while adapting to meet my student’s educational needs. I aim to empower students to become lifelong learners while encouraging independence and striving to promote personal and intellectual growth. I am Certified in First Aid, as well in CPR.

Professional Development:

Gateways to Learning Opportunity Level 4.

Gateways to Opportunity is the Illinois Professional Development for Early Childhood Professionals. The Gateways is a hub to show an educator’s professional development as well as a validation of knowledge, skills, and experience.

• I’ve worked with school-aged children up to teenage years, building relationships to mentor the children at this camp, successfully engaging with them for their development of socialization skills, while supporting their cognitive skills. Mentored in field trips, and outdoor activities, while supporting the children as they participated in classroom educational activities. One example of my work in the classroom was effective behavioral practices when I worked on one with a child to manage effective behavior when expressing themselves to educate them to effectively manage their emotions.
