Chick-Fil-A Leaders Academy:
I was in this academy my Sophomore and Junior year of high school. I was a part of the leadership team for our end of the year project last year. This project included building a greenhouse, chicken coup, and many gardening beds for a local organization called Saving Grace. I was over the fundraising for this project. It was an incredible experience to be able to be involved in giving back to others. I spent around seventeen hours preparing for this project, and organizing the funds.
American Heart Association Sweethearts:
My Sophomore year of high school, I was able to be a sweetheart for the American Heart Association. This organization is for girls to engage in and fundraise for the American Heart association. I raised over one thousand dollars for this organization. Through this, I got to collect many service opportunities and ended up serving ten service hours.
Springdale Junior Leadership:
My Freshman year of high school, I was selected to be in Springdale Leadership based on an application process. Six people were chosen from my Freshman class. Being involved in this leadership role, I saw many businesses and non-profit organizations behind the scenes.
The Social Action, Leadership, and Transformation (SALT):
I was involved in this leadership organization from Seventh grade to my Freshman year of high school. As a Freshman, I went to a Leadership 101 conference conference in Florida. From this, I learned many life skills about leadership and how to be a good leader.
