Personal Experience

large animals aren't my only experience I also on my own time take care of 6 dog, 9 chickens, snake, guinea pigs and a baby turtle. I am very passionate about what I do even though I don't have much knowledge about it. One of my guinea pigs, his name is pip, got really sick he stopped eating, moving a lot, usually when ! come in my room he would greet me by standing up on the side the cage. I did a lot of research to figure out what it was a lot of things I was reading were saying it could be a respiratory infection or a common cold. instead of taking a guess I started researching what I could do to at least get in to start eating again and feeling better. that's when I came across critical care herbivore, heathy gut and vita A drops pure C. of course I didn't give it to him all in one shot. I started with the critical care first splitting it into 4-6 feedings till he got better and started eating solids again before he did I would mix it with carrots, lettuce and anything safe for a guinea pig to eat  and blend it together. he would scarf it down, lucky I gave him small amount so he couldn't choke on it. after 3 days he started to squeal again and stand on the side of the cage greeting me. I couldn't tell you how relived I was when he was back to his normal self. once I took him off critical care herbivore I started to put vitamin c in his water and healthy gut in his food to try and prevent anything like that from happening. so far he's been healthy since I can't image if I didn't try to safe him what would of happened but I'm glad I took the chance and im glad i did because he's perfectly health now. i am very good handling dogs, small animals, larger animals and any reptile.
