Lauren Johnson

Secretary of Black Student Union

• I helped bring on multiple school wide events celebrating Black History Month (In each event, I added a new element to bring variety to the event)
• I also helped kept track of meetings

House Mentor Captain

• My school has a house system (similar to that of Harry Potter) where there are 8 houses, and within each house, there are 6 mentor groups of about 20 - 25 students
• I represent my own mentor group and also help plan activities for my house as a whole

Member of Belonging Board

• The Belonging board is a highly selective board of about 15 students amongst the whole student body, whose job is to protect each students sense of belonging at Bishop Lynch
• As a member, I help determine the best course of action to take to educate and reprimand those invoking another's sense of belonging

• Facilitated daily camp activities, ensuring safety and engagement for all participants.
• Developed conflict resolution strategies, promoting a positive camp environment.

At this summer camp, I also won best worker of the week my first ever week of working.

This represents my fast learning ability, teachability, and adaptability when it comes to jobs i have little to no experience.
