Diversity CRNA - August 2024 Rosalind Franklin University

Had the opportunity of attending a Diversity CRNA conference in Chicago at Rosalind Franklin University. Participated in various immersive activities, with the opportunity to observe the many techniques utilized by Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists. Received education and listened to keynote speakers not only including Dr. Lena Gould, CRNA, FAANA, FAAN; but various programs and current SRNA's. Participated in in hands on simulation workshops in a more intimate area including Intubation techniques, basic functions of the anesthesia gas machine, arterial line insertion as well as fiberoptic scope procedures. Participated in mock interviews and received DNAP project education/basics.
