As an usher for Kalamazoo State Theatre, I act as event-goers first impression in the facility. responsibilities ranged from welcoming guests to the theatre, directing them where to go and checking identification. This position allowed for direct work with the community of Kalamazoo.

Hotworx is a fitness studio that offers guided workouts in infrared saunas. My responsibilities here include educating potential members on the holistic benefits of saunas, interpersonal interaction with members as well as maintaining saunas, interpersonal interaction with members as well as maintaining hygiene in the studio.

At Vandersalm's, responsibilities included managing a variety of tasks. Clerks act as the face of the face of the company, interacting with customers both in stores and over the phone. Clerk's are also responsible for completing plant & flower orders as assigned. Customer service and detailed work were vital to this position. This helped develop empathy and interpersonal interaction surrounding sensitive subjects.

While employed at Doja, job duties required maintaining the sales floor appropriately along with assisting customers while they shopped. It was sales associate's responsibility to educate patients when needed to help them choose the best product for their specific needs. Many consumers use cannabis for physical and mental medical conditions giving experience exhibiting empathy and interpersonal skills. It was important to form one on one connections with each shopper. Front desk duties such as answering phones, checking guests in and operating pos systems was a part of the position as well.

As a server at Hopcat, responsibilities included providing guests with the best possible experience and fostering genuine connections. As a result of this position, I excel at one-on-one service, proper station management, sales and menu memorization all while operating independently in a fast-paced environment requiring quick decision making and a calm mind.

At Olga's I worked primarily as a to-go server occasionally picking up waitressing shifts. With experience in to-go responsibilities included putting together orders correctly and efficiently whilst also taking in person/phone orders, answering all incoming phone calls, cashing out customers, and jumping in when needed in the dining room to help shifts run smoothly. This position was extremely customer service oriented and helped develop skills necessary for interpersonal interaction, being of service to others as well as operating effectively in a fast-paced environment.
