As a Special Education teacher, I provide specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs, including cognitive, emotional, physical, and developmental disabilities. The goal is to create a supportive, inclusive, and effective learning environment where students can develop academically, socially, and emotionally. I assess students' abilities and craft personalized learning plans in collaboration with parents, teachers, and support staff. I modify lesson plans, instructional strategies, and classroom materials to align with each student’s IEP and learning style. I utilize a variety of teaching methods (e.g., visual, auditory, hands-on activities) to address the learning needs of students. I ensure compliance with all federal and state laws, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Section 504, and other regulations governing special education.

As a Summer Camp Recreation Leader, I was responsible for organizing, leading, and supervising activities at a summer camp. This role involves working with children or teens to ensure they have a safe, fun, and educational experience. I organize recreational activities like sports, arts and crafts, games, nature exploration, and team-building exercises. I ensure the safety and well-being of campers by maintaining a positive and inclusive environment. I coordinated with Staff: Collaborate with other leaders, counselors, and directors to ensure smooth operation of daily activities.

As a Resident Assistant (RA), I was a student leader who works within college or university residence halls to support and supervise students living on campus. I was responsible for creating a positive and safe living environment, providing resources, enforcing housing policies, and fostering a sense of community among residents. I ensured that residents follow university housing policies and address violations when they occur (e.g., noise complaints, alcohol use). I helped resolve disputes between roommates or other residents through effective communication and problem-solving techniques. I served as a resource for residents, providing emotional support and connecting them to campus resources like counseling services, academic advising, or career centers.
