Lauren Rayner

As a first year business student at the University of Maryland, College Park, I am actively seeking opportunities to apply theoretical concepts in practical settings, particularly through pursuing internship opportunities. Drawing upon my diverse experiences, including my senior year internship at Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty as an estate agent's assistant and my role as a Starbucks barista, I am eager to further develop my skills and contribute meaningfully in a professional environment. Through hands-on experiences, I aim to continue my growth both professionally and personally, making valuable contributions to any team or organization I join.

• As a an elected member of the Social Committee for the UNICEF chapter at University of Maryland, I contribute to raising awareness and support for children in need worldwide. Responsibilities include crafting engaging content, managing social media campaigns, and fostering online community engagement. Through strategic collaboration with team members, I help amplify our message and drive meaningful action on campus.
• As President of ACE Tutoring Club for two years, I spearheaded the organization's efforts in providing free tutoring services to middle school students, coordinating with faculty, parents, and students alike. Responsible for facilitating pairings for online tutoring sessions and securing a location at the middle school library for in-person sessions, I ensured seamless operations and meaningful support for all participants.
• Served as the Ballet Director's Assistant, helping to nurture young dancers aged 6-10 within a weekly program. Responsibilities included demonstrating techniques, performing choreography, and providing individualized attention to ensure students' progress. My role involved maintaining focus among these young dancers, offering constructive feedback, and correcting techniques to enhance their skills and confidence.
