• Assess patient needs, while developing a patient-centered care plan for each patient
• Conduct patient assessments, implement interventions, administer medications and monitor for changes in patient condition
• Communicate pertinent information to other health care team members regarding patient condition, recovery expectations, and discharge readiness
• Provide education regarding medications, interventions, and plan of care to patient and family members
• Document all aspects of patient care including patient assessments, patient interventions, medication administration, and patient education.

While working in Observation unit we were established with and staffing an outpatient infusion center. I was floated there often to care for patient who need infusion such as IV hydration, IV antibiotics, blood transfusion and many other infusions. Here is where I perfected my skill in IV insertion, Accessing ports and central line dressing changes in a fast-paced environment.

• Taught various nursing skills: activities of daily living (ADL's), health assessment, IM/SQ injections, medication administration, nasogastric tube, venipuncture, and Foley insertions
• Assist with in-service, practice sessions, and inventory, served as a resource person and promoted stewardship and a safe environment.
