Providing quality care to critically ill patient populations for acute conditions that typically include acute leukemia or lymphoma, chemotherapy induced cytopenias, along with many other cancer related conditions or complications. This role includes administering high dose chemotherapy, immunotherapy and a variety of different medications currently enrolled in clinical trials. Close monitoring and frequent assessments to ensure safety and effectiveness of prescribed treatment plans. Working collaboratively with a team of nurses, patient care associates, nursing management, and medical staff to ensure safety and quality care is provided.

Provided care for patients acutely diagnosed with cancer diagnoses preparing to undergo treatment. Administered chemotherapy and provided close monitoring of patients while working closely with medical staff to ensure quality care is provided. Also, managed patients transitioning to palliative care and provided care that included promoting comfort and quality of life.
