09.1998 - Current
- 1994 -1997 School Years, I was a Teacher's Assistant in self-contained 5-6 grade and then 3-4 grade classrooms. This was while I was getting my Master's Degree in Reading at LIU Southampton.
- 1998 I was hired as a second grade teacher here at EQ Over the years I worked with push-in teachers and taught inclusion.
- 2004 I was asked if I would move to sixth grade where I spent a year and then went out on maternity leave.
- 2006 I returned and went to first grade.
- 2008 I went to second grade where I stayed until I went to Kindergarten in 2016
- 2017 I was asked to move to third grade
- 2023 I volunteered to move to fourth grade when it was needed.
- Over these years I have team taught Inclusion and ELL classrooms.
Skills
- Have taught math in grades K, 1, 2, 3 and 4 over my years here at EQ
- I have been a team player for many years, working in regular education classrooms with push-in services and also in Inclusion and ELL classrooms Any time I was asked to move I did I have always been an easy going cooperative person with a passion to help I have always loved change and the challenge that come with it
