Active member of a large, community based Radiology group, affiliated with the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, working in both the hospital and out patient office setting, reading high volume, complex studies for oncologic, orthopedic, and out patient referrals. Routinely participate in weekly Tumor Board conferences and other academic oriented meetings.
Was selected to be Section Chief of Body Imaging, at my alma mater institution, and actively participated in the education of a large, academic department Residency Program, giving weekly lectures, daily read out sessions, and was also the department representative to give monthly lectures to the Urology Dept. residents.
Was elected as Vice Chair of the department after only 3 years of employment because of my reputation as the "go to guy" for the department for the technologists, the clinical staff, and for the other members of my group. Was being "groomed" to be the Chair of the department, but was de-railed when the hospital closed.
