  • I was responsible for setting up this new business office and getting it ready to open. I worked with vendors and customers to ensure that the freezer and dock bay are ready for operations.   • As part of my responsibilities at my previous company, I was tasked with creating the employee handbook for the new business office. The handbook includes policies and procedures for all aspects of the business, from hiring and onboarding to performance management, discipline, and termination. I worked closely with the Owner and legal counsel to ensure that the policies and procedures were compliant with all applicable laws and regulations. The handbook also includes a section on employee benefits, including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan.
  • I worked around my class schedule and my competition schedule with BPA (Business Professionals of America). I was able to successfully manage both my academic and extracurricular commitments.
