Summary

I worked for 6 years for Wichita SRS as a Social Worker. Working to keep families together when abuse or neglect was involved. Worked with diverse populations. Adept at case planning and diagnosis management, efficiency in task completion. Skilled in client assessment, case management, crisis intervention, communication, empathy, and problem-solving to support diverse populations effectively. I've also worked in cash, medical & food stamps. I had several clients who were mentally ill and worked with them and community services to help promote the best mental, emotional and behavioral health. I have family who are mentally ill and I have experience working with Veterans, elders and the homeless. I enjoy helping others, I like to see them succeed. I have many volunteer hours working for a group I belong to called Sew For Kids Volunteers. We help on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. Since I retired early in October 2021 from Wichita State University as a library assistant, I have become slightly bored and need a way to finance my gardening addiction.
