Responsible for the cleaning of the interior of the building including all offices, bathrooms, chapel, sanctuary, kitchen, narthex, lounge, hall and preschool classrooms. Duties included ensuring supplies were ordered and cleaning all rooms including waste and recycling removal. Increased the recycling by adding more barrels around the building to reduce waste.

Engage children by playing with, reading to and dancing with them. Provided coloring pages and crayons when needed. Implemented seasonal/holiday decorations, books and stickers to create a diverse and inclusive environment. Created a "star" wall whereas after obtaining parental permission, I took photos of the children, put those photos on glittery stars and adhered stars to the wall for the children to see. I did this to let the children know the room belonged to them. I was responsible for cleaning the surfaces in the room as well as the toys after each shift.

I enjoy reading and make it a part of every day. I love to read to children as well as have them read to me. I believe having a literacy rich environment fosters learning. Music is also a big part of every day. I love listening to music and playing instruments with children as well as dancing with them. I also love to be outdoors. Fresh air is so important. I love to go hiking, especially with children, as I love to watch them explore nature.
