Oversaw the supervision of elementary students (K-5) and executed lesson plans while ensuring quality care for students using best practices. Responsible for maintaining compliance with DCF standards. Assisted with marketing the program and setting the standards of excellence during its pilot year. Responsible for the day-to-day operations of a DCF-licensed early childhood center. Supervise 20 employees, and be responsible for hiring staff, maintaining staff files, and ensuring compliance with DCF regulations. Collaborate with Seminole County ELC to maintain compliance with the VPK program. Conduct staff observations and review lesson plans to ensure developmentally appropriate practices are implemented in classrooms. Maintain a positive working relationship with the Advisory Board, the Church Pastor, and the Church Council. Run payroll, and maintain the monthly and annual budget. Enrollment increased from 34 to 95, and three classrooms were added post-COVID.

Full-time Assistant Director in an early childhood center serving infants through pre-K. Conducted tours, handled the enrollment of new and returning students, and managed the wait list. Reviewed lesson plans, and assisted with curriculum development. Supervised staff, and completed staff evaluations.

Full-time Lead VPK Teacher with some director responsibilities (attendance forms, annual contract, staff requirements/compliance). Manage the classroom, provide a safe and nurturing environment, and conduct VPK assessments three times per year. Complete and implement lesson plans in compliance with VPK standards. Communicate with parents, and refer children to early intervention as needed.

Completed background investigations, including criminal histories and pre-sentencing investigations, as ordered by the court. Field Training Officer for new employees. Supervised a caseload of probationers and assisted them in meeting the court-ordered obligations. I communicated with the court when violations of probation occurred, attended court hearings, and testified as necessary.

Developed treatment plans for adolescents in a crisis facility. Residents were either in the foster care system and needed temporary placement, or they were runaways needing shelter. Completed assessments in a timely manner, and collaborated with caseworkers to find placements for the residents. Conducted group therapy, and met with families as needed. Coordinated care for aftercare.
