I spend my time with my two children, ages six and ten; Keeping up with their hobbies I have a dog and a cat, but highly enjoy the cat vibes I find relaxation listening to piano music I don't have too many personal hobbies at this time as this season has been busy with pursuing my bachelors degree in social work
My calling for social work started when I was working in the memory care and often found myself advocating for the residents and helping families navigate the gaps in the assisted living environment
Being a school social worker makes the most sense for me as my kids are in school, and working similar hours has been motivating me as well as integrating my career to line up with my personal life Advocating is an ongoing pursuit, but as long as advocacy is being practiced, it gives the underserved communities hope
