As a dynamic educator, I excel in fostering student motivation. I am adept at building strong relationships and mentoring peers. In my Saturday Bootcamp Tutorials, I have successfully implemented innovative teaching strategies that cater to the untraditional student. Spending summer developing math lesson plans, I am experienced with curriculum development, ensuring educational content meets all necessary standards and engages students. I utilize a range of teaching methods which allows students to interact with content in different modalities. which addresses different learning styles. I possess a deep understanding of classroom management techniques to maintain a productive and respectful learning environment. I support colleagues in developing effective teaching methods by leading professional development on AVID / WICOR strategies that promote increased student engagement and rigor and focuses on critical thinking skills.

Campus G/T Advocate: Educated teachers and staff on traits that a gifted student may possess and supported with student recommendations. Arranged and proctored CogAT testing for over fifty referred students. Met all district requirements with regard to notification of testing outcomes.

Lead Mentor Teacher Contact: Assigned eligible teachers an experienced mentor teacher, maintained campus checklist spreadsheet tracking, and did regular check-ins with both novice teachers and mentors to ensure adequate support.

PPfT Campus Contact: Attended training sessions and supported teachers with questions related to PPfT. Sent regular reminders for approaching deadlines and support finding needed information.

AVID Site Coordinator: Coordinated Site Team meetings, collaborated on campus Site Goals, led professional development, and supported teachers in planning and implementing WICOR strategies to increase rigor and student engagement.

Leadership Pathway Ambassador: Offer guidance and support to a variety of teachers that are participating in the Differentiated Instruction Pathway. (I completed the Advanced Academics Pathway 4 years ago.)
