I found this position because I used to volunteer a lot for recess, and eventually, lunch monitoring. Where I was informed that they needed help with lunch monitoring. I was happy to step in and apply. When interviewing for the job, I was also asked to help with the kitchen prep for lunches before my monitoring duties. I did this for the year, then I was asked by the kitchen supervisor to come back as kitchen staff.
I started here as a part-time cashier while going back to college, since it was so close to my college. Because of my work ethic and job performance, within weeks, I was offered the night manager position. Unfortunately, the position did not suit my college, and family responsibilities at the time. However, I did add stocker duties to my responsibilities and started working weekend shifts to stock products, also.
I was eventually offered and accepted the assistant manager position near the end of my college degree.
When I started at Gillette Stadium I started as security/usher for the soccer Presidential seating. Quickly, I moved up the ranks, becoming a supervisor in many key roles. Trying almost all positions, I learned the stadium well, and I showed my work ethic and performance. I was then asked to also take on the Mobile 1 position, on top of my event security duties. This position was night security in a vehicle, patrolling the grounds, calling in check-ins, and calling for police or other security when needed, among many other duties.
When leaving my role as security for the money runners for the clubs and suites, I had also moved into the role of Mobile 2, night security for the newest areas of the stadium project.
Starting this job as seasonal holiday help, I quickly showed my work ethic and performance, and was asked to come on as an editor full-time.
I started this job as a cashier. I quickly demonstrated my work ethic and performance, and was offered full-time. Eventually, I did most jobs there and applied for the stock clerk position. Hanover Shaw also employed several special needs staff. Due to my experience, I was looked to handle or help handle talks and situations involving these staff members.
When I was younger, I participated in many different school programs that involved working with students with special needs My youngest sister has special needs, and my desire was to learn to help her in the best ways possible to navigate certain things in the world And I loved it
I truly feel this has been an asset to me in the world in general but especially in the working world I have been able to talk to and understand people when others didn't because of my sister and these programs
