I am majoring as a Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior at UC Davis, in hopes to go into PA or Med school. I am devoted to many leadership roles due to being in Sports and Social clubs. I worked around people ranging from all ages helping me with my communication, problem solving, and networking skills. Some of my favorite things to do include playing volleyball, art, Korean Dramas, and drinking matcha.
I am currently researching amongst the different types of medications towards illnesses such as Type 2 Diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and eventually cancer. But not only medications, I am looking into alternative treatment to help heal people. This project is worked alongside a doctor and other fellow students statewide.
Pre-med Club Member at UC Davis. This club has been a helpful guide to the expectations of Med school and the overall requirements. There are general meetings, socials, and fundraisers to attend to and as I start to get more involved with this club I can see myself interested in many specialties like cardiology, anesthesiologist, and treating infectious diseases. I am also a, Pre-PA club member at UC Davis. This was one of my first clubs I joined at Davis where I am currently learning what PA school is like with alumni speakers and the process of applying. There are general meetings, socials, and fundraisers to attend to and this club has increased my passion towards pursuing PA school as a whole in the specialty of emergency medicine and urgent care. I was an Ambassador for the Pre-Health Conference at UC Davis 10/01/24-11/01/24. This was one of Davis's biggest pre-health event as we are inviting over 1,000 people and schools to promote their medical and health schools. My role as an ambassador was to make sure everything was organized, engaging, and help guide those new to UC Davis campus. I got to speak and network with many health advisors on applying for their schools and learn how to read vitals, optometry, and CPR.
