To Whom It May Concern, Running has the power to change everything. Community has the power to change everything. An inspirational brand has the power to change everything. Combine them all, and you've figured it out. My name is Jon and I'm writing in response to the Senior Specialist, Community Marketing role at On. I believe I'm a great candidate for this position; let me tell you why. For the past several years, I've led the North America running community marketing strategy in Nike stores. I developed the playbook for how stores can serve as hubs for running communities. Ive partnered with run clubs and hired run coaches, with the belief that pairing an authentic community with consistent programming is what it takes to win the trust of runners all over country. While each market might be a bit different, the formula remains the same: community x brand x running, with consistency at the center. It works. In addition to driving the 365 foundational running strategy, I've led strategy for major brand supported events including the Miami Marathon and Boston Marathon, as well as key footwear releases. I've learned a lot in the two years I've led this body of work, and I would love to talk about how my skills and experience might be a good fit at On. I'm motivated and I'm dedicated.
