I was in the water cooling tower industry for over 7 years. I started out in 2015 at EvapTech, Inc. as a receptionist and worked my way into the engineering department as engineering administrator. I took on tasks consisting of data input, setting up bill of materials, creating new parts using the company's ERP software, Jobscope, and drafting. As I attended classes to obtain my AutoCAD degree, EvapTech purchased AutoCAD 2020 for my work computer and trained me to revise and create new water cooling tower drawings for the company. In May 2022 I graduated Johnson County Community College with my AAS in Computer-Aided Drafting & Design. In November of 2022 I took on a new career with the City of Overland Park Public Works as an Engineering Tech I. My work consists of, drafting, field work, and snow duty. I obtained my CDL with the city and completed one full snow season of salting and plowing the roads for Overland Park, Kansas. I am a hard worker willing to learn and grow my drafting skills to eventually become a senior tech.
