- I do many different types of jobs as a volunteer. I am usually assigned to different classrooms as a teachers assistant to teach Mandarin, sometimes I am printing homework and tests in the main office, and sometimes I am help with organizing events
- As a teacher's assistant I usually work with the beginner adult class and help students with improving their Mandarin speaking and writing skills.

- My school has a special program known as Innovation Impact where students work together to find ways they could solve world problems like hunger, poverty, unsustainable energy, and gender inequality. For this school year I am focused on helping solve hunger by working contacting different organizations and finding places where people are in need of basic living resources.
- In my previous school year I worked with three other students to create a curriculum in our school's health class that focuses on intersectionality which studies how different aspects of a person's life (such as gender, race, and social class) could affect their life experiences. It has been successfully implemented into our school's heath curriculum.
- During this year I have also joined and became a part of the first EF Academy Pasadena Theater Production. We have successfully finished our fall play and are currently working on the spring musical. I did both acting and creating some props, and costumes.
