• Processing Change Notices in the SAP Workflow with the following criteria:
• 1. Check plausibility and completeness.
• 2. Ensure the changeover is on time and implemented on the agreed milestone (date).
• 3. Determine and document the use of old materials.
• Act as liaison to coordinate between application engineers, Process Engineers, Sales, Purchasing, Production and Customers. Verify the parts meet design intent regarding the geometry to meet PPAP requirements and implementation of verification tools and gages. Track milestones of new product release on each stage and ensure the purchased components' approval of the initial samples.
• Control phase in/out of the changed components, communicate to the cross function team for the delays or pull ins of the change in the milestones.
• Plan discontinuations and coordinate after receiving notification from Sales. Determine which materials will end requirements during discontinuation, and release this information to the appropriate departments in the factory.
• Maintain overview of discontinuation obsolescence, and following changeover, notify Sales of the remaining materials to be invoiced to the customer.
• Review of obsolete materials for either disposal or use in aftermarket.
• Material disposal to be charged to the appropriate cost center form which department it was created.
• Plan and coordinate Change/Discontinuation Meetings.
• Maintain and regulate cleanups of material data in SAP.
• Support all Projects for Logistics side that are cross-functional/ involving multiple departments of the organization.
• Work as local Coordinator for SAP Business Unit Key User (BuKu) functions for all SAP modules.
