• Perform diagnostic imaging portable radiography, surgery and fluoroscopic procedures
• Complete diagnostic radiographic procedures in the radiology department of a 500+-bed teaching hospital
• Consistently produces films of optimal diagnostic quality images for neonatal to geriatric patients
• Good knowledge of the latest radiology room equipment/systems, procedures and safety standards with the ability to convey information to the patients effectively
• Perform front/back office clerical duties- scheduling patients, maintained and documented records related to the patients conditions
• Take thorough and accurate patient medical histories
• Provided assistance in dressing or changing injured or disabled patients
• Ensure patients safety by utilizing radiation protective devices at all times
• Performed all radiologic/portable examinations with digital radiography
• Complete all required diagnostic procedures producing high-quality exams
• Review/evaluate developed x-rays and computer generated information to determine if images are satisfactory
