Accountable for the management of Metro Transit Facilities capital programs and facilities infrastructure

This was a Supervisory Role with accountability for the management of Metro Transit Facilities capital programs and facilities infrastructure

Roles and responsibilities included:
• Supervising team of 5 employees (3 Project Program Management experts and 2 Planner Schedulers)
• Management and oversight of four primary King County Metro Transit Facility Capital Programs and Special Projects:
• Planned and conducted daily tag ups and monthly staff meetings.
• Managed at the strategic and planning level of multiple programs to ensure proper annual budgeting and staffing to successful manage the work.
• Management and oversite of annual BG&Os (Business Goals and Objectives) to meet annual targets for both the work and the cashflow projections of each program to align with King County Metro’s ‘Long Game’ business plan
• Management and oversight for the analysis for all program processes via VSM (Value Stream Mapping) methodology to identify opportunities for improvement to each process and create efficient process flows of the work, and to determine resources needed year over year.

• $6 Million HVAC upgrade – Five story building, 325 heat pumps, rooftop air handler & chiller, 6 hydronic pump system, new CMCS for operating system from integrated computer system – Boeing Developmental Center
• Design and build of new security badging facility – Everett Boeing Site
• VHF & UHF antenna installations, large paint projects, SDL (Software Development Lab) upgrades, office reconfigurations, Security System upgrades, Fire Protection System upgrades, Tully's Café buildout, Large Diesel Generator installations, Engineering studies and Electrical system upgrades; UPS installations, Substation replacements, 120/208, 480v 3 Ph, 400hz, 28vDC

• Management and oversite of communication with local municipalities to sustain current Environmental Impact Statements and understand SEPA Permitting regulations, collaboration with enterprise parking office for management of annual parking pass allocation program, analysis of pedestrian, vehicle and logistical traffic flows and interactions, ADA requirements, annual parking lot paint refresh plan and maintaining compliance with Washington State Commuter Trip Reduction Policy
• Analyzing, updating and maintaining site logistical markings within industry traffic standards per MUTCD protocols.

While in this position, I successfully planned, developed and implemented Boeing's first park and ride shuttle program.
• Successfully presented plan to Boeing’s Vice President and General Manager of the 787 Dreamliner Program.
• Program adopted by Renton Boeing Manufacturing site.
• Developed plans for enhanced employee safety, addressing priority concerns with the implementation of state-of-the-art solutions; lighted crosswalks, additional fencing, graveled and paved pathways, etc.
• Conducted comprehensive assessments of existing facilities working in conjunction with civil engineering professionals to identify areas of opportunity for improvements
• Established best practices for the maintenance of all parking and logistical assets

• Capital projects and maintenance projects for upkeep of all Everett Boeing tooling, airplane stands, manufacturing multi-level wing tools, epoxy floor coating projects, office painting projects, exterior building paint projects
• Job required developing requirements and cost estimations for each project, material procurement, planning, scheduling and implementation of scope of work.
• Other responsibilities were to maintain inventory of tools and equipment and paint products
• Management of hazardous waste disposal, Management of project documentation, MSDS sheets, design documents, project close out records.
• Generated and completed work orders for repairs, maintenance, and component replacement.
