  • Complied with OSHA and company safety guidelines for height safety, lock out tag out, confined space and hazardous material handling.
  • Hoisted metal components into place, safely operating cranes during process.
  • Used appropriate safety measures and encouraged other team members to do same in effort to avoid job site injuries.
  • Cut metal components to required lengths using metal shears, hacksaws and bar cutters.
  • Prioritized safety across job site with specific attention to load suspension, welding and cutting.
  • Determined size, shape, placement and material of supports based on blueprints and structural standards.
  • Reviewed work plans and blueprints to ascertain all requirements for project.
  • Installed steel cables to reinforce structures before tightening and reinforcing.

Accomplishments

In my Career i have erected many of NY tallest buildings, and other structural projects, like pedestrian walkways, the Occulus @ world trade the Ventrix in Hudson Yards and so forth. I am proud top be a 5th union Generation Ironworker, I now would like to venture into a new field where i can still work hands on I am confident that with my skills i would be an asset in your field of work
