- I was a SAW gunner and heavy specialist in the gunner position
- Expert proficiency on all weapons M9, M4, M14EBR, M249, M240 B/L, MK19, M2-.50 caliber
- Over 150 fire fights, and numerous other TICs, over 100 foot patrols in the mountains
- Main duty was to interdict men/women, equipment and smugglers from Afghanistan to Pakistan as well as from Pakistan to Afghanistan
- Road blocks and vehicle patrol bases to search for any and all illegal items
- Personally collecting intelligence for the HUMINT teams, with biometric data and civilization tracking and movements with BAT/HIIDE systems
- During OEF XI-XII in the Kandahar region, Afghanistan
- I was a personal advisor to the executive officer driver, security implementation specialist, and personnel protection specialist
