I started out as a Routine Courier in June 2013 and moved up to an Advanced Courier in December 2015 before becoming the Group Lead in May 2019. I have 23 couriers that I'm the lead for and that covers Everett to Centralia and the Pacific Ocean to Ellensburg. I make sure they are all on routes, make any changes to the routes, handle problem tickets, make sure their vehicles are maintained and cover any route that needs to be done. I work with the sales staff on setting up new accounts and any issues that the client may have.
I installed Real Estate sign posts for several Real Estate companies in the Tacoma area. My goal was to have the post up in front of a house within 24 hours of receiving the order and I was in the 99% range and 100% within 48 hours.
I set up the warehouse for about 35 newspaper carriers each day. I made sure they had all of the correct advertising, carrier mail, supplies and newspapers each day. I would cover any open route and service check any missed delivery from the day before to ensure that the customer had there newspaper.
