I have skills in leading, I was a leader of the baseball team for a couple of years, and as a catcher on the baseball team, my skills are leading, communication, workhorse, physical, mental strength and working through pain.
I have skills that allow me to learn about cars, I work in the garage with my father and he teaches me as much as he knows so I have skill in that field to. I’m willing to lean as much as I can to make sure the work I’m doing is done correctly and in a timely manner.
I started out as a general operator at Skf, making rings for pistons, in cars, automobiles, some airplanes. Was able to use a micrometer and digital calipers, working the rings to the thousands using numbers and seeing how much my work lives up to the spec that’s given. The job has to be pretty precise with your work or else you crate scrap and scrap is frowned upon.
The job thought me how to build on skills to learn a skill I’ve never had.

As a tire builder we had a tired that had the tread put on, but needed to be heated up in order for the tread to stay on the tire itself.
So as a chamber man we had to learn how to work fast.
Had to know what bag had to go on the tire,
Learned teamwork to get the job done fast and precise.
As a dining aid. We learned how to be quick with our work, but also satisfying our customers at the same time. We were thought how to make sure the customer had a great experience in the dining room, making it a safe, clean, enjoyable atmosphere. We learned how to be clean, cleaning everything to make sure our customers and ourself were safe and healthy.
We learned how to work fast in the dish room and also being precise on our cleaning.
We learned teamwork and how team work gets the job done without a stressful day.
