  • Detectives Unit: In 2015, assigned to this unit to investigate a high volume of major crimes, including identity theft, homicide, suspicious death, robbery, rape, fire, and arson cases. Presented courtroom testimony and evidence.
  • Cold Cases: Served as the primary investigator on 25 homicide cold cases.
  • Fire/Arson Investigations: ​Assigned to this unit to investigate origin and cause of numerous fires, including several fatal fires.
  • SWAT Team Leader: Provided direction and supervision to a team of 20 SWAT officers.  Also participated in multijurisdictional SWAT operations involving over 200 SWAT operators.
  • Field Training Instructor/Unit Coordinator: Provided field training on investigation, crime prevention, and law enforcement tactics to over 150 officers total.
  • Underwater Recovery (Dive) Unit: Supervised a team of 10 underwater search and recovery professionals.
  • Community Policing Unit: Utilized as aggressive patrol and narcotics enforcement tactics in high-crime areas.
  • Patrol Division: Directly responsible for a platoon of 14 officers.
  • Firearms Instructor:  Directly responsible for the training and certification of approximately 100 officers.
