A flight simulator technician needs strong technical skills in electronics, mechanics, software, and networking to maintain and troubleshoot simulators, along with aviation principles to understand the context of the systems. Essential soft skills include problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and customer service, as they work with complex machinery and interact with pilots and instructors.
