Summary

Through culturally sensitive and inclusive approaches, I aspire to address the unique nutritional needs and challenges faced by marginalized communities. By integrating holistic healing modalities with science-backed practices, my goal is to reduce the health disparities common amongst communities of color and promote health equity in nutrition education and resources. In the course of achieving my master’s degree in nutrition and dietetics, I hope to gain the skills necessary to become a clinically competent and compassionate dietician. I know that the dietetics program at Eastern Michigan University will prepare me for my future in this intriguing and important field.
