• Calculate correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses etc.
• Administer statements of payment to personnel either electronically or on paper.
• Process taxes and payment of employee benefits.
• Keep track of hour rates, wages, compensation benefit rates, new hire information etc.
• Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiors.
• Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to benefits administration, performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; workers compensation; and policy and procedures.
• Handles HR inquiries from employees and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to appropriate member of department.
• Collaborates with training & development to review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory performance training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include onboarding programs, leadership training, safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and certifications.
• Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
• Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources and employment law.
