I work in most all areas of the OR in Springfield. General, GYN, colo/rectal, pediatrics, light ENT, urology, ortho and ortho trauma

Mary Black is primarily an orthopedic hospital with many total joints and joint scopes.

I also did several general and colo/rectal cases here

I worked evening shift in OKC. Here I worked mostly in general, traumas, colo/rectal and urology. We did do some neuro as well.

Renown is a smaller facility with basic general cases and ortho cases. A lot of scopes and routine surgeries with little trauma cases.

Level 1 trauma facility

I assisted in ortho, general, colo/rectal. urology, neuro and gyn. I worked evenings here and would do emergencies and anything else that came up.

I went to work at Jane Phillips when they reached out to Ascension St. Johns and asked for help as they were short staffed. I ended up staying there for over a year. There I enhanced my skills in general, Gyn, podiatry, and ortho. I also got trained in L&D in doing C-sections.

This was my first job as a scrub. I was oriented in most specialties here. I joined the ortho team where I mainly assisted in routine and trauma surgeries. When not in ortho, I was able to maintain my skills in general, urology, GYN, neuro, colo/rectal, pediatrics, traumas and organ harvest.
