• ILit Curriculum Writing Committee, BVSD, 03/19-04/19- Provided insight and assisted in the writing for the districts own curriculum, Selected by school administration to participate in the committee. With a team of 4 other 1st grade teachers across the district, brainstormed and created learning experiences for students to provide the best outcome in their practice.
• Building Leadership Team, Indian Valley Elementary, 08/19, 05/23, Worked alongside a team of other teachers and the building principal to reflect, plan, and collaborate on decisions being made for the school. Met monthly to help brainstorm ways to make the school the best place it could be.
• Building Assessment Team, 08/16, 05/23, Following all building-wide assessments, met with fellow team members to analyze student data and discuss ways to provide the most growth in the specific grade level and subject area, Used MTSS (Multi-Tiered Systems of Support) to help support classroom educators on how to take assessment data and gear instruction towards the needs of their students.
