  • Managed a bi-weekly multi-channel/country Open to Buy that was presented to senior management during a monthly meeting.

  • Headed the planning department for the newly created Outlet division. This consisted of creating and monitoring the plans to convert standard Tilly's stores to Tilly's Outlet stores and all merchandise planning responsibilities.
  • Managed a weekly Open to Buy for each department, using sound historical data to predict sales trends, forecast POS markdowns, and suggest Perm markdowns of slower-selling items.
  • Created pre-season Spring/Fall financial plans for all 27 subclasses in the Outlet/Unisex Accessories division/department.
  • Prepared a monthly business review to identify in-season risks/opportunities and make needed adjustments to current and future plans. This review was presented to upper management including VPs of Planning/Outlet and the GMO.
  • Created, managed, and reviewed Key Item Plans weekly for "never out" product and communicated to the buying teams for revisions to the buy plans for the coming months.
  • Built Buy Breaks that tie back to the merchandise plans to develop a timeline for the life of the product as well as allowing for visibility of the average store inventory by volume group.
  • Responsible for the new store plans. Created assortment targets in conjunction with the other merchandise planners by area and monitored them every week. Once approved by the VP of planning the targets were turned over to the allocation team. Percentage to target assortments were communicated as well as adjustments to the opening dates.
