Establish airways, stabilize and prepare patients for transport. Administer medications, read electrocardiograms and treat as needed, use a Defibrillator or pacer when necessary. Apply dressings and splints, assist women in labor perform deliveries. Assess and treat burns, operate radio/ telephone equipment to communicate medical information, compile reports and records to educate patients and the public.
