My responsibilities include but not limited to helping children during their lunch at school. I was the lead cafeteria monitor. I am responsible to teach and train the new employees. I effectively monitor the children to ensure they are safe and are eating during their mealtime. I am on a set schedule and have to complete my task in a timely manner. I do the paperwork after each shift and give it to the principle. I talk with administration, teachers, parents, and students every day and help in any way I can. Daytime custodian I was in charge of anything that the administration, staff or students needed while school was in session. I would multitask by cleaning windows, floors, bathrooms and stocking supplies. I would also take out the trash, sweep and mop the floors. This is a Little Debbie Snack Cakes company. Many factors were involved with this job. I had to multitask from cleaning the machines, putting the cakes into the machines to then be wrapped, then to put the well-wrapped cakes into boxes. Lastly, we had to put the boxes into the shipping boxes that would be delivered to the stores. We had to be very detailed orientated to allow only the good cakes to be wrapped and then have a great eye to inspect the wrapped cakes so that only the cakes that were good be allowed to be put into the boxes. I had to be quick to put the shipping box up in the machine so that the individual boxes would be placed into the shipping boxes. All this happens on an 8 hour day. Since we were around food all day, we had to be very diligent and follow OSHA and food allergens safety protocols. I trained new workers to do the best job possible.
