  • Facilitate/coordinate hiring activity for faculty, adjunct, academic, civil service, assistantships, academic hourly, grad/undergrad hourly positions

  • Track and monitor compliance for assigned units in areas such as: Performance Reviews, Ethics Training, ANCRA Training, and AVSL reporting
  • Review and process HR transactions related to specific employee groups and departmental requests, in accordance with university policies and procedures
  • Interpret and implement policies and procedures related to the federal Family Medical Leave Act, as well as other laws/policies related to employee leaves
  • Oversee and process the bi-weekly payroll for staff and students, communicate leave practices and policies, and ensure compliance throughout the college
  • Assist in the development and continual improvement of procedures and templates used in HR search processes and transaction processing to drive efficient operations
  • Consult with supervisors and employees with personnel issues, utilizing campus resources such as the campus IHR office and EAP when necessary
  • Provide Labor and Employee Relations guidance to supervisors and civil service employees
  • Conduct constructive contact meetings with employees
  • Participate in special projects, including audits, and provide general support to the Director of Human Resources
  • Coordinate ERGO assessment visits for employees, follow up with the recommended risk assessment report
