Teacher of the Year 2002-2003
I was selected by my fellow teachers as Teacher of the Year at Grover Elementary School , where I taught as a 5th grade teacher. It was a proud moment,and I will always cherish and be proud that I was a teacher to many children! I worked as an assistant while attending college and raising my two sons. Upon graduation in May 1991 , I returned to the school and was hired to teach 5th grade in the school year of August 1991.. I continued to teach until I retired in July 2011. Teaching was a Most Cherished career for me.
