Lee Sickels

I am a hard working dedicated Registered Nurse who truly looks forward to going to work every day. My beginning career I worked at Healthsouth Rehabilation Hospital in Toms River, NJ. I was promoted to Senior Staff Nurse and rotating House Nursing Supervisor. I started 6/93, was full time until 12/2000, but remained on staff per diem for many years. While there I worked on the NIPS unit - Neurologically Impaired patients. We had a census of 63 young adults who lived on the unit. Due to the nature of their medical condition such as head and spinal cord injuries, I dealt with many psychological and behavioral issues. I have true compassion for patients dealing with such adversity. I also have experience with acute head injury patients, which required frequent "handle with care" emergency codes. I only left because I moved to Monmouth County. My residents were my passion for sure.

Upon moving to Monmouth County I then started working for Meridian Nursing and Rehab in Red Bank 1/2001 and stayed with the company until 3/23 then they were sold to Complete Care. I have a 22 year history of working for one company and worked for a few of their different building, mostly as Supervisor.

My strengths are compassion, physical and emotional assessment skills , and trying to facilitate a pleasant and productive work environment.
